I knew this had to be a lie when it came out. I am glad the record was set straight!
pffft…I totally forgot about this…I smelled bullshit on this when it first came out, like there was any doubt on my side.
I even emailed tmz on this actually a long time ago when this came out and got a response from them, forgot all about that too even…
their reply to me was…there was not enough evidence for them to report on it so they didn’t even bother and something about they don’t (ahem) make up stuff…hahaha
It is a shame that he can’t sue her for slander. I wonder if he would have had something come from it.

I think it’s so shitty that they allowed her to chock it up to a mistaken identity thing. She clearly did it for press for people to go to her comedy show. I wish they would have mentioned that in the article. That she just so happened to have a show that night. Whatever. It all comes back to you in the end.
I wonder if she did it initally as a joke just for the people who follow her but it got out of control.
Whatever her reasoning was I hope his reps smacked her. Don’t mess with someone’s name just to get your name out there.
But I’m sure it happens all the time. I’m sure that’s where half the “Guess whose dating whom” stories come from.
“But I’m sure it happens all the time.”–well sure. as long as they get the story out there, they can then say ‘oh sorry, my mistake’ but people still heard it and some will always wonder if it really happened. Like I’m sure there are people with this story who will assume that Shia really did it but weaseled his way out of it for being a celebrity just like they assumed he got away with drunk driving and crashing his truck.

What? Well I guess when all you hear is that then you believe it. I mean we saw him in a different city on the day of so we knew it was crap from the beginning. But I guess when all you hear is the aligation you believe it. So many people want to believe that celebrities, all of them, are evil. I’ll admit that I have prejudices that I’m just now seeing.
