The partying atmosphere was never my thing. This is actually the first year I intentionally set out to have alcohol on hand. Got our bourbon chilling in the freezer. I have never been a New’s Year Eve person. Maybe just cause we never celebrated it when I grew up but it never felt that big to me. I’m only now realizing how many people love the night so much.

Then again, I’m not a huge party person. I guess if people love parties as a rule, New Year’s Eve is the mother of all parties.
